Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using TownSquare Studio's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Services

TownSquare Studio provides podcast production services including studio recording, audio/video editing, and distribution to major podcast platforms. Our membership includes unlimited studio sessions, 3-day editing, and full syndication services.

Membership and Billing

• Memberships are billed monthly at the current rate ($197/month for Members, $500/month for Sponsors)
• You may cancel your membership at any time through your account or by contacting us
• Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial months

Studio Usage

• Studio sessions must be booked in advance through our scheduling system
• Please arrive on time for your scheduled sessions
• Treat studio equipment with care and respect
• No food or drinks near recording equipment
• We reserve the right to refuse service for inappropriate behavior

Content Ownership & License

You retain ownership of the underlying creative content you create at TownSquare Studio. However, by using our services, you grant TownSquare Studio a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

• Edit, produce, and distribute your content to podcast platforms
• Insert advertisements, sponsorship messages, and promotional content into your episodes
• Use clips, excerpts, or full episodes on TownSquare Studio's own channels and social media
• Feature your content in promotional materials for TownSquare Studio
• Include your show in cross-promotion with other TownSquare Studio productions

This license helps us operate the studio, support our creators through shared advertising revenue, and grow the TownSquare Studio community. You may request removal of your content from our channels upon cancellation of your membership, though content already distributed to third-party platforms (Apple, Spotify, etc.) will remain under your control.

Content Guidelines

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Contain defamatory, harassing, or threatening material
• Promote illegal activities

Limitation of Liability

TownSquare Studio provides services "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the preceding 12 months.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your membership for violation of these terms, non-payment, or any conduct we deem inappropriate. Upon termination, your access to studio services will end, but you will retain ownership of your content.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify you of significant changes via email.
